Being a Conservative Pagan

I was involved in several discussions since the other day about why a Pagan is labeled & stereotyped as being liberal. I am not Liberal, I am a Conservative. My religion might not be a Conservative mainstreamed Religion, but I am personally. I am not far right, but I am still pretty much Conservative. Here is why I am one:

I'm Republican, but do not always vote straight ticket, I vote for the best person.
I'm pro Bush, Bill O'Rielly, Rush Limbaugh, & FOX News.
I'm Pro War because we must protect America's interests around theworld.
I am anti Terrorist & believe that they have no rights if they getcaptured and the Geneva Convention doesn't apply to unconventionalWarfare, Bomb them back to the Stoneages!
I'm Pro Death Penality for murder, serial rapists, & child molesters.
I'm against Long term Welfare & Welfare for life; get job training orif you continue to have kids or make kids without bettering your selfand getting off your ass, you should get steralized. If you are able to work and have no medical condition preventing you, get a job.
I'm against points on tests due to race or sex, the best person forthe job gets it no matter what sex or color you are. The only points that people should get are vets because they earned it.
I'm pro life in the exception of rape, incest, or deformatory/severeretardation. Abortions should not be used as a birth control method.
I'm pro Hunting and believe that Hunters are the best economistsbecause they control the animal population.
I belong to the NRA.

My liberal view is Gay marriage, I believe that if a person wants tomarry another member of their own sex, then it should be that waycause they are not harming no body.
I also don't dress conservative with wing tips & suit, I am a jeans &t-shirt kinda guy with a few tattoos and earings.
I believe that religon is a choice & that just because this countrywas founded by mainstreamed Christians does not mean that thats forme.

So as you can see, I am about 94% Conservative in my views and 6%Liberal. I am not an Ultra right wing extreame Conservative, but I am a Conservative pretty much.

The night I became a 1st Degree Initiate

It was a rather warm damp Friday night in January 2007, the 5th to be exact, and I became a 1st Degree Witch. I will not get into specific details, but my HPS Talitha Dragonfly incorporated my initiation into our Coven's regular Full Moon Ritual. I was asked a series of questions, anointed by a holly sprig with a combination of salt, water, & wine mixed together dipped on it, and had to say a few words on my behalf. During the previous week I took a written test of which I passed and during the last year went to class when I could weekly, participated in Rituals, and finally led my own Full Moon Ritual as a High Priest for the night. The gift that was given to me by Talitha was a fist sized rock that I found in my yard with a green piece of yarn around it to symbolize my dedication and initiation to our Coven. The green yarn & rock symbolizes my next year and a day to the Coven and if I chose not to remain, the rock and yarn gets returned & we part. I am happy with my new path & found that what makes me happier with this over being catholic is that here you can be you with your faults and are accepted for being yourself, and money does not matter, my spirtual needs are met as well as my social, emotional & physical needs. My immediate family of my wife and kids lovingly support me as well as my new found Covenmates in my decision and for that I love them dearly and will keeping going up the ranks until one day in 2 years, I will be a High Priest and form my own Coven which will be tightly bonded with the Pennypack Coven.
